Nassau County – Electronic RP-5217
The Nassau County Clerk requires that all documents submitted for recording requiring a Real Property Transfer Report use the bar-coded Form RP-5217-PDF. The carbonized form will not be accepted.
A “Land Recording Alert” has been posted on the Nassau County Clerk’s website http://www.nassaucountyny.gov/agencies/clerk/index.html advising that the RP-5217-PDF is required for conveyances after September 1, 2014.
The RP-5217-PDF form and Instructions can be found on the Nassau County Clerk’s website and on the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance’s website at: http://www.tax.ny.gov/research/property/assess/rp5217/index.htm. The form must be printed on legal size paper (8.5” x 14”).
