Explanation:
This endorsement insures against the U.S. navigable servitude.Underwriting Requirements:
(1) Underwriting personnel must approve issuance of the endorsement.(2) Available maps, if any, must be reviewed to determine whether a possible servitude exists because of filled in lands.
(3) The period of time the land and area has been improved must be considered.
(4) Army Corps of Engineers permits for improvements must be considered.
(5) The State commission, if any, must be consulted on issues involving coastal land in some states.
