The New York Department of Financial Services has accepted for filing a Policy Authentication Endorsement for use with the 2006 ALTA Owner’s Policy and 2006 ALTA Loan Policy. This endorsement provides that the Company will not deny liability under the policy or the endorsements issued with the policy solely on the grounds that the policy or endorsements were issued electronically or lack signatures in accordance with the Conditions.
This endorsement is now effective. A copy of the endorsement is attached for your reference. The endorsement has been posted to our website at http://www.stewart.com/new-york under the “Agent Login” section.
