The Louisiana Department of Insurance has approved the LATISSO filing of ALTA Endorsement 23-06 Co-Insurance/Single Policy (01-01-08). This Endorsement is available for use effective immediately.
ALTA ENDORSEMENT 23-06 Co-Insurance/Single Policy (01-01-08)
This endorsement, at the insured's request, apportions the liability under the policy among multiple insurers.
Each Co-Insurer shall receive its proportional share of the single policy premium of the Issuing Co-Insurer, and shall be liable to the Insured under the Co-Insurance Policy only for the total of the loss and costs multiplied by its Proportion of Liability.
The Louisiana Rate and Form Manual has been updated to reflect the addition of this endorsement form and rate rule. Please go to www.stgla.com for the updated manual and to obtain this endorsement in electronic format.
