RE: ACRIS Tax Filings

The New York City Register will require the following forms to be filed on line through the ACRIS system for transactions in the 5 boroughs:

NYC Real Property Transfer Tax Return (RPTT)
New York State Transfer Tax Return (TP 584)
New York City Equalization Form (RP 5217 NYC)
Smoke detector affidavit
Property Registration Form
Water and Sewer Billing Registration Form

ACRIS can be found at http://www.nyc.gov/html/dof/html/acris.html

An account is required to use ACRIS. This can be created once ACRIS is accessed. It is suggested that you use the frequent user account.

There can be one account or multiple accounts per office. The tax forms will be submitted on line with a cover sheet as any other document.
