Explanation:
This endorsement provides an owner or lender at the time the policy is issued with assurances that the land described in the policy is the same as shown on a plat or survey attached to and made a part of the policy.Underwriting Requirements:
(1) The issuance of this endorsement requires that:(a) A plat or survey prepared by a licensed surveyor or registered engineer be submitted for attachment to the policy.
(b) A determination that the plat or survey is sufficient and consistent with regard to the establishment of record boundaries, controls, closure, etc.; and
(c) The determination that the area shown on the plat corresponds exactly with the land described in the policy.
