CLTA Deletion of Exception Endorsement Guideline 110.1

Explanation:

This endorsement amends an ALTA or CLTA policy to delete particular title exceptions or to delete certain exclusions from coverage.

Underwriting Requirements:

(1) The CLTA 110.1 Endorsement is used to:
(a) either remove a title exception after the policy is issued without having to retype the policy; or
(b) convert a CLTA policy to an extended coverage (ALTA) policy by deleting one or more of the first five printed Exclusions From Coverage appearing in Part I, Schedule B.

Any revision to this form requires approval of a Stewart Title Guaranty Company underwriter. The underwriting guidelines contained herein have been provided for general reference. The facts, circumstances, and location of the subject property should be considered when determining the issuance of the requested form or endorsement. Please note that all of the forms and endorsements included in this system may not be available in all states. Accordingly, please contact the appropriate Stewart Title Guaranty Company underwriting personnel in order to determine availability.
