Explanation:
Provides insurance to a lender, limited to the liability amount stated in the policy, that a notice of completion has been recorded on the property and that no mechanic's liens are of record other than those set out in the endorsements.

Underwriting Requirements:
(1) The appropriate Stewart Title Guaranty underwriting personnel must be consulted if the statutory period for the filing of mechanic's liens has not expired at the time the endorsement is to be issued.
(2) This endorsement is utilized when the prior policy was an ALTA loan or construction loan policy or a CLTA policy with a CLTA 101 Endorsement
(3) This guideline is for California property. The appropriate Stewart Title Guaranty underwriting personnel must be contacted prior to issuance in other states.

Any revision to this form requires approval of a Stewart Title Guaranty Company underwriter. The underwriting guidelines contained herein have been provided for general reference. The facts, circumstances, and location of the subject property should be considered when determining the issuance of the requested form or endorsement.
