Underwriting agreements do not authorize issuing agents to engage in settlements or closings on behalf of Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Any information furnished by bulletins or other material does not direct the issuing agent's escrow or settlement practices or change provisions of applicable underwriting agreements. Likewise, issuance of closing protection letters does not make or constitute the issuing agent as an agent of Stewart Title Guaranty Company for the matters covered in the letter.
