Please be advised that the Michigan Department of Insurance & Finance Services has approved Stewart Title Guaranty Company’s Schedule Of Charges for Title Insurance In The State of Michigan, attached herein, (The Michigan Residential Rate Manual) effective February 17, 2025.
The modifications to the Residential Rate Manual are as follows:
- Removal of the All-Inclusive language in the Manual
- Increase to the minimum and Schedule of Charges for Owners’ Policies
- Increase to minimum and Schedule of Charges for Homeowner’s Policies
- Increase to minimum and Schedule of Charges for Loan Policies
- Increase to minimum and Schedule of Charges for Expanded Coverage Loon Policies
Please note that with the removal of the “All Inclusive” language in the Rate Manual, the charges are now risk rates for title insurance only and do not include any fees or costs for title searches, title examinations or any other fees for services that might be charged by Stewart Title Guaranty Company or its Agents.
These forms have been provided to third-party title production system (TPS) vendors. Please contact your TPS vendor or account services representative to have the new/revised forms implemented in your system.
