We have been advised of a phishing situation involving loan servicer SitusAMC. A fraudster has contacted borrowers and/or guarantors through email using the following fake domains:
situsamcS.com
situsamcS.US
situsamcS.co
and alias domain (zohu.eu)
SitusAMC advises that the foregoing domains are being used in an attempt to misappropriate funds utilizing fraudulent ACH instructions.
Please be diligent when receiving email communications from anyone purporting to be associated with SitusAMC from a domain other than “situsamc.com”.
SitusAMC requests that any phishing attempts related to loans serviced by SitusAMC should be forwarded to InfoSec@situsamc.com.
As a reminder, as with any payoff instruction, independent verification must be made prior to disbursement.
