RE: RATES AND/OR FORMS UPDATE - New South Carolina Rate Manual

Dear Associates:

Stewart Title Guaranty Company has received approval from the Department of Insurance for changes to its rates effective May 13, 2022. These rate changes primarily affect charges for endorsements and closing protection letters. Click here for a copy of revised rate manual.

Endorsements

Specific rates for ALTA or any other endorsements will no longer be charged by Stewart Title. Endorsements for special or unusual risks that are requested by the proposed insured and acceptable to the underwriter may be issued and charged for at a price agreed upon by Stewart and the insured.

Agents will need to contact Customer Care or their title production software vendor and request that the new rates/forms changes be implemented in their software platforms. For additional assistance with implementation, agents should contact their Agency Sales Representative.
