LEGISLATIVE UPDATE - 2021 Legislative Update
Dear Associates:
We wanted to make you aware that during the 2021 legislative session, the legislature passed HB 435, which amends KRS 396.011 to extend the period for creditors to file claims where no personal representative has been appointed from eight (8) months back to two (2) years after decedent’s death. This change is effective June 29, 2021.
