LEGISLATIVE UPDATE - New Legislation RON
Dear Associates:
On May 3, 2021, Kansas enacted SB 106 allowing Remote Online Notarization. The legislation takes effect 1-1-2022 for KS notaries. Until the law takes effect in 2022, you can partner with approved RON providers who can provide licensed notaries from states which authorize RON. Please refer to Virtual Underwriter for a list of states with RON legislation in effect and certified eNotaries.
