UNDERWRITING - Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) Adopts Update to Insurance Manual
Dear Associates:
The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) adopted an update to Form T-51 (Purchaser/Seller Insured Closing Service Letter).
The updated Form T-51 shows that the threshold amount for a claim on the T-51 is now $500,000. The maximum amount of coverage by TTIGA was increased by the Texas Legislature in 2019.
The update is effective as of February 1, 2021.
