RE: UNDERWRITING - Emergency Order involving Foreclosures

Dear Associates: 

On March 17, 2020, NH Governor Christopher Sununu issued Emergency Order #4 Pursuant to Executive Order 2020-04. For your convenience, the Order can be viewed by clicking on this link. Pursuant to paragraph No. 3 of the Order, all foreclosure actions under RSA 479 are prohibited during the State of Emergency. This Order also contains a provision that no foreclosure action shall be initiated at this time.

Accordingly, we will be unable to insure any transaction involving a foreclosure that was initiated or concluded during the pendency of Emergency Order #4.

For those of you handling evictions in landlord/tenant matters, you are urged to review this Order for guidance.
