In 2011, the American Land Title Association ("ALTA"), the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping ("ACSM") and the National Society of Professional Surveyors ("NSPS") adopted joint 2011 Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys (the "2011 Survey Standards"), superseding the survey standards that were last revised in 2005. In 2021, there will be updates to the Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, effective February 23, 2021.
