RE: RATES AND/OR FORMS UPDATE - Revised Nevada Affiliate Rate Manual

Dear Associates:

The following revisions have been made to the Nevada Affiliate Rate Manual. These changes will become effective December 24, 2020.  

Summary of changes:

Section 1: Original Issue Charges For Owner’s or Loan Policies (page 3)

Item a. Zone 1

The list of counties which apply to this zone was modified to apply to Elko, White Pine. Lander, Eureka, Humboldt and Pershing Counties. There were also modifications made to the charges for the liabilities through $300,000 ranges. 

Section 1: Original Issue Charges For Owner’s or Loan Policies (page 5)

Item c. Zone 3

This is a new zone established for the charges that apply to the Counties of Washoe, Lyon, Douglas, Storey, Churchill, Mineral, Esmeraldo, and Carson City Counties. 

Section 2: Reissue of Owner’s Insurance (page 6)

The new Zone 3 was added to apply to this section. 

Section 9: Refinance Charges (pages 8-9)

The new Zone 3 was added to apply to this section. 

Section 10: Charges For Simultaneous Issuance of Policies (pages 9-10)

Item A. Simultaneous Issuance of Owner’s and Loan Policies

The new Zone 3 was added to apply to this section. In all three zones the charge for when an owner’s policy and a standard loan policy are issued simultaneously was established. In Zone 2 of this section the charge for when an owner’s policy is issued simultaneously with two extended loan policies for the same lender was established. 

Section 10: Charges For Simultaneous Issuance of Policies (page 10)

Item B. Simultaneous Issuance of Owner’s And Leasehold Owner’s Policies

Zone 3 was added also under Zone 1 so that the charges will apply to both Zone 1 and Zone 3. 

Section 11: Subdivision (Development) Charge (pages 10-11)

Item A

Reflects the charges for this section for Zone 1 and 2 and adds Zone 3 to the section. 

Section 16: Additional Discounts (page14)

Item C. Non-Profit Organizations

The charges for Zone 3 were added to this section. 

Schedule A - Special Products Available for STG in Nevada (pages 24-25)

Item 2. Centralized Processing Refinance and Loan Rate for Issuance of An ALTA Short Form Residential Loan Policy

This item was added to this Schedule A of the manual.
