Dear Associates:
Baltimore City Mayor Jack Young has announced that the City expects to mail past water bills early in August, 2019. The new water bills will cover May, June, and July plus a 10% increase that went into effect July 1, 2019 (while the billing system was down).
Officials have acknowledged that paying could be a hardship for some people once the bills go out, and the City will offer plans to give people additional time to pay the full amount. The Mayor’s Office also said it is developing a plan to communicate with residents about the larger-than-usual bills.
Below is a link to an online database of old water bills which can be used to look up water bill history for Baltimore City properties.
