Please be advised that the online public property records in Harrison County, West Virginia have been recently compromised and that the County is working on bringing the system back online and updating their records. The Clerk’s office is open and recording is occurring. The Clerk’s Office has advised that they are approximately 2 weeks behind in recording documents but such are being date stamped when presented for recordation. Searches can be conducted physically at the Clerk’s Office. However if you are conducting online searches in Harrison County, WV you are advised to contact the Clerk’s Office to confirm that they are fully back online and that all current recording information can be obtained through the online portals. If you have any questions relating to this or other bulletins, please contact a Stewart Title Guaranty Company underwriter.
