RE: UNDERWRITING - Luzerne County, Pennsylvania - Outage Update

Dear Associates:

Due to the ongoing computer outage in Luzerne County affecting the County’s various offices, agents must obtain approval from a Stewart Underwriter prior to closing any Luzerne County transactions.

While some of Luzerne County’s systems are operational, the Assessor’s office is offline; documents presented for recording are unable to be PIN certified by the Assessor’s office and will not be recorded until the Assessor’s office is back online.

Please see the attached additional information issued by the Pennsylvania Land Title Association.

Stewart Underwriting will continue to monitor the situation and keep you apprised of any developments. Should you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out to us.
