RE: RATES AND/OR FORMS UPDATE - New Forms for Virginia

Dear Associates:

Effective March 26, 2018, the following ALTA Forms have been approved for use in Virginia.

  • ALTA Short Form Commitment for a Short Form Residential Loan Policy (009-UN) (12/01/17) 
  • ALTA Form 23.1-06 Co-Insurance - Multiple Policies (E-9234) (08/01/17)

Agents should contact your title production software vendor to have these forms added to your system.

As a reminder, other forms should not be used if a comparable ALTA version is available. If a comparable ALTA version is available, the most current version of the ALTA form available in your state should be used, unless approved by a Stewart underwriter.
