UNDERWRITING - New Registry of Deeds Indexing Standards - Effective 1/1/2018
Dear Associates:
Massachusetts Registers and Assistant Registers of Deeds Association have issued updated indexing standards for recorded documents. These standards were last updated in 2008. The new standards reflect changes that have occurred in the Commonwealth as a result of judicial decisions, statutes, and technological advancements since 2008. The updated standards include over 60 new standards.
