RE: RATES AND/OR FORMS UPDATE - Revised Rates for Indiana

Dear Associates:

Attached is the revised Schedule of Charges for Use in the State of Indiana for all policies issued by or on behalf of Stewart Title Guaranty Company (“Stewart”) in transactions involving Indiana real estate. The revised rates are effective as of July 15, 2014.

Please note the following changes:

1) The Stewart Loyalty Reissue and Refinance credits have expired and are no longer available for closings on or after July 15, 2014. The only available credits are the Refinance and Reissue credits shown on the attached Schedule of Charges;

2) The table for the Commercial Standard ALTA Owner’s Policy charges now reflects a minimum charge of $500.00 for policies up to $250,000.00;

3) The table for the Commercial Standard ALTA Loan Policy charges now reflects a minimum charge of $500.00 for policies up to $285,000.00;

4) The simultaneous issue fee is only available for loan policy amounts up to the amount of the owner’s policy; and,

5) The foreclosure guarantee is available on residential transactions only.  

Any premium charged or quotations for policies of title insurance or endorsements issued by Stewart and its issuing offices must be based on the attached Schedule of Charges for Use.

Please contact your software company to request an update for your system with the new rates and forms. If you are an AFW or AIM+ user, please contact PropertyInfo Customer Care to get the new rate changes implemented in their AFW or AIM+ system.
