The Nebraska Department of Insurance, effective September 10, 2013, has approved what is commonly known as a “blank,” or General Endorsement, which can be used to make minor additions, deletions, or corrections to commitments or policies.
This endorsement is not to be used to provide coverage afforded by other endorsements that may not be approved for use in Nebraska by “cutting and pasting” specific endorsement language onto the general endorsement, and should not be used where other approved forms provide appropriate coverage.
The General Endorsement has a prefix of E-9936 and may be obtained through the usual sources.
