Unlawful Inducements - Florida Department of Financial Services Proposed Rule
Dear Associates:
The Florida Department of Financial Services has published a draft proposed rule intended to clarify its position on unlawful inducements. The proposed rule lists specific examples of acts and practices which it holds to be violations of Florida's Unfair Insurance Trade Practices Act, F.S. 626.951. A copy of the proposed rule is enclosed for your reference.
A public hearing on the proposed rule is scheduled for September 20, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. in the Larson Building, 200 E. Gaines Street, Tallahassee, Florida.
