We are advised that the computer facility for the centralized general index for Alaska has experienced an outage and has not been restored as of the date of this memo. You will not be able to access such information as may be stored there, nor will you be able to update your local title plants from this source until service has been restored.
Until such time as you are able to date down closing files from a currently posted database, you may use the STG Gap Indemnity Agreement to cover the general index matters of a normal date down. The form is attached, and may also be found in Virtual Underwriter/Forms/STG, towards the bottom of the listing.
