Medicaid Estate Recoveries
The legislature has repealed the expanded definition of Estate for Medicaid Recovery. As a result, it is no longer necessary to inquire as to any assets outside of a decedent’s estate passing either by will or intestacy.
Please be advised the Multiple Exception Affidavit has been revised to eliminate the Medicaid section and has added additional types of violations to the NYC portion.
