Before closing a transaction, all issuing offices must search the names of the parties to the transaction, including the seller, buyer/borrower, payoff lender and new lender, using the Special Alerts database. Go to the Special Alerts database to search for specific names, entities and properties.

K.E.L. Title Insurance Group, Inc. has advised that it ceased issuing new title insurance policies for closings taking place after October 12, 2012.
Effective immediately, and until further notice, all Stewart Title Guaranty Company policy Issuing Offices may not accept any letter of indemnity, escrow benefit letter or prior policy from K.E.L. Title Insurance Group, Inc. or its agents for clearance of title objections.
