Before closing a transaction, all issuing offices must search the names of the parties to the transaction, including the seller, buyer/borrower, payoff lender and new lender, using the Special Alerts database. Go to the Special Alerts database to search for specific names, entities and properties.

A suspicious check has been drawn on a purported account of this company at the Bank of Nova Scotia.
The following names have been associated with the suspicious check:

Mr. Ampo Wang
Collins McAdams
Effective immediately, all issuing offices are instructed not to accept any orders or close any transactions involving persons using the above names without the written approval of a Stewart Legal Services representative.
