This bulletin reminds Issuing Agents that your authority is limited to the issuance of commitments and title insurance policies within the underwriting guidelines on behalf of Stewart Title Guaranty Company. You do not have authority to bind Stewart Title Guaranty Company in any other way. For example, Issuing Agents do not have authority to agree to the terms and conditions of an escrow agreement on behalf of Stewart Title Guaranty Company.
