The Pennsylvania Insurance Department recently approved an amended filing of the Title Insurance Rating Bureau of Pennsylvania (TIRBOP) which will become effective September 14, 2009. This amendment approves a revised Closing Service Letter (CSL). The new approved rate for this letter is $75.00. The new CSL provides better lender coverage and for the first time extends coverage to a buyer or borrower.
