The Hawaii State Insurance Division approved use of the 2006 ALTA Policies on July 16, 2007. Because of a concern regarding the ALTA policy forms' arbitration provisions, all agents issuing the Stewart Title Guaranty 2006 ALTA policy forms must attach an endorsement, a copy of which is available below, giving assurance that the new policies' arbitration provisions do not supersede Hawaii Uniform Arbitration Act, under Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 658A, HRS.
