RE: Florida Drivers License

Dear Associates:

In a previous bulletin dated June 12, 1992, you were advised that a minimum of two forms of identification should be required of any party who is signing documents in connection with the issuance of title insurance.

A recent newspaper article stated that thieves in the Miami area have stolen from drivers license offices all of the equipment needed to produce perfect but forged drivers licenses. In the words of one of the Highway Patrol investigators,". . . There is no doubt in my mind that these were stolen for high-dollar economic crimes."

Accordingly, you are again advised that relying on a Florida drivers license alone is not sufficient identification on which you can rely to issue title insurance coverage.

THIS BULLETIN IS FURNISHED TO INFORM YOU OF CURRENT DEVELOPMENTS.
