Notice in Mortgage Foreclosures
The required notice under Real Property Actions and Proceeding Law 1303 (1) has been amended to apply to owner occupied one - four (1-4) family dwellings.
Chapter 154 Laws of 2007 limits the requirement of the notice to owner occupied one - four (1-4) family dwellings.
The notice is contained in a provision of the Home Equity Theft Protection Act. A copy of the notice can be found in NY000300.
