RE: Greene County Recording Taxes

The recording increase did not go into effect as there was no local legislation passed. A bulletin will be sent out when the increase becomes effective.

If a payment was made to Greene County under the new, higher rates, they will send a refund check back to the maker of the check.

If you receive a check from Greene County, send the refund to the party paying for the recording of the document.
