The Louisiana Department of Insurance has approved the LATISSO filing of ALTA Endorsement 21-06 Creditor's Rights (6/17/06), Insured Closing Coverage (CPC-LA 08-01-08), Insured Closing Coverage (CPC-LA-Single Transaction 08-01-08) and Insured Closing Coverage (CPC-LA-Limitations 08-01-08 ). This Endorsement and these Insured Closing Coverage letter versions are available for use effective immediately.

ALTA ENDORSEMENT 21-06 Creditor's Rights (06/17/06)

The ALTA Endorsement Form 21-06 Creditor's Rights (06/17/06) replaces the ALTA Endorsement Form 21 Creditor's Rights (06-17-06).

The rate remains at Ten percent (10%) of the Original Rate with a minimum premium of $250.

Insured Closing Coverage (CPC-LA 08-01-08)

The Insured Closing Coverage (CPC-LA 08-01-08) replaces the 08-2004 Blanket Closing Protection Coverage version.

The rate is $25.

Insured Closing Coverage (CPC-LA-Single Transaction 08-01-08)

The Insured Closing Coverage (CPC-LA-Single Transaction 08-01-08) replaces the 08-2004 Specific Closing Protection Coverage version.

The rate is $25.

Insured Closing Coverage (CPC-Limitations-LA 08-01-08)

Insured Closing Coverage (CPC-Limitations-LA 08-01-08) is a new version of closing protection coverage not previously available.

The rate is $25.

The Louisiana Rate and Form Manual has been updated to reflect the change in the ALTA Endorsement Form 21-06 Creditor's Rights (6/17/06). Please go to www.stgla.com for the updated manual and to obtain this endorsement in electronic format.

Stewart's Insured Closing Letter web based production system has been updated with the Insured Closing Coverage letters discussed above. Users have the option to choose the version desired at the "Form Number" option on the "Create ICL" screen.
