RE: Stewart Title Rate Calculator

On Wednesday February 15, 2006, Stewart Title unveiled its updated and redesigned Rate Calculator on the Internet. The calculator can be accessed through a link on the Stewart New York website at www.stewartnewyork.com . Thanks and congratulations for this achievement are due primarily to Christian O'Reilly of the Stewart IT Department and to Craig Goldenberg, the manager of the IT Department.

While every effort was made to “de-bug” the program and verify accuracy of results before it went live, it is anticipated that there still may be glitches that will appear. There may also be questions that arise that are not specifically related to the program or its calculations, but simply, the proper use of the calculator. In any event, to the extent that a user has a question, comment or concern as to the accuracy of results or how to use the program, please direct those questions and comments to Legal Department personnel and not to the IT Department. To the extent that we find there is an error that requires a change to the program, we will communicate with IT to make the change and notify the users as warranted.

In coming weeks we anticipate the addition of features to the calculator which will enhance its capabilities and establish it as the most comprehensive program of its kind in the industry.
