City of Yonkers Transfer Tax
Pursuant to Local Law 7-2005, the City of Yonkers has raised the transfer tax for any transaction closing on or after July 1, 2005 to 1.5% on any transfer where the consideration is greater than $25,000.00.
For clarification, the tax is on the whole price, not just the amount that exceeds $25,000.00.
