Home Equity Policy Bulletin (Not for First Mortgages)
Dear Associates:
A copy of the Home Equity Policy (HEP) bulletin was sent to you some time ago.
Demand for this product has increased substantially and many of you will be receiving orders for the policy. The Home Equity Policy is not to be used for first mortgages. Please review the bulletin. All the requirements for preparation and issuance are contained in the bulletin.
Should you have any questions regarding the issuance of this policy, please call your Stewart representative or the National Legal Department in Houston at the WATS line number listed on this transmittal.
