Suffolk County Verification Fee Increase
Dear Associates:
Effective January 1, 2002, the fee collected for verification of tax map numbers or documents to be recorded in Suffolk County has been increased to $30.00 for the first tax lot number to be verified. Each additional lot will be charged at $20.00 per, with an aggregate limit of $1,400.00 per instrument. For your information, a copy of the memorandum of Edward Romaine, Suffolk County Clerk is available through the New York District Office.
