Increase on Mortgage Recording Tax - Cattaraugus County
Dear Associates:
A notice from the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance advising that, effective, December 1, 1996, the mortgage recording tax rate on the recording of mortgages of real property, either wholly or partly, located in Cattaraugus County, will increase to $1.00 per $100 and each remaining major fraction thereof.
Please advise your closing personnel (and anyone else who needs to know) accordingly. Should you have any questions, please contact Company counsel.
