Dear Associates:
Many properties are designated or registered as having historical significance. In such case it may be necessary to obtain a permit to demolish, develop or restore them.
Laws, ordinances and governmental regulations affecting such activities are excluded from the coverage of the policy unless the notice of the designation or registration appears in the public records. If a recorded notice does appear it must be shown as an exception in the policy.
