You have just recently received a bulletin from Houston Legal Department concerning a modification of the condominium endorsement resulting from a change in the Florida Condominium Statute which was scheduled to go into effect on January 1, 1992.
Please be advised that subsequent to the preparation of that bulletin, the Florida Legislature as its special session in December has postponed the effective date of the provisions of this new law to April 1, 1992. The purpose of this was to allow the regulatory agency more time to prepare a new set of regulations to go along with the new law. Whether or not there will be any further postponement is uncertain at this time. Accordingly, the effective date of this bulletin from Houston should be considered set back to April 1 as opposed to January 1.
