Dear Associates:
Please be advised that when issuing a recorded document guarantee for a customer doing environmental due diligence, that in instances where the designated documents to be reported are leases or sub-leases, mortgages/deeds of trust, environmental protection liens recorded pursuant to CERCLA or all documents as marked on the guarantee, the general index must be run for those matters. There may be an instance where a street address or a poor legal description is reflected on the document and, therefore, cannot be posted to a specific account and are instead posted to the general index. Please make certain that title officers who are issuing the recorded document guarantee run the general index.
